He emphasized that nations, including India, China, Russia, Germany, and those in the Arab region, must unite to resist this perceived bullying.

Khan highlighted the implications of Khamenei’s assassination, recalling recent US actions, such as the capture of Venezuela’s former president, to illustrate a pattern of behavior that he believes threatens global stability. He stated that if such aggression is unchecked, it poses a danger to peace in various nations. The call for a global response was underscored by the gravity of these actions and their potential repercussions on international relations.

Condolences from Indian Political Leaders at the Gathering

A condolence meeting was held at the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi to honor Khamenei’s memory, where several political figures were present. Among them was Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, who conveyed his sympathies regarding the assassination. Sibal called for tensions to be resolved through dialogue rather than violence, stressing the need for cooperative efforts in addressing conflicts. He remarked on the diminishing effectiveness of the current international order and asserted that such developments are detrimental to both global peace and individual countries.

The incidents follow escalating tensions in West Asia, particularly after a significant military operation involving both US and Israeli forces. This operation, named Operation Epic Fury/Roaring Lion, targeted various strategic locations within Iran, resulting in the death of Khamenei and several other senior officials.
